Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Turner / Lathe Machine Operator with hands-on experience in conventional machining. The candidate will be responsible for operating lathe machines and producing precision components as per engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate conventional lathe machines for turning, facing, boring, threading, and grooving operations
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure accurate measurements
• Select and set cutting tools as per material and job requirement
• Maintain proper speeds and feeds for different materials (steel, alloy, etc.)
• Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting
• Ensure quality of finished components using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean working environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI in Turner / Machinist or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of lathe machine operations and precision machining
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Familiarity with cutting tools and machining parameters
• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance
