We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant Executive to manage daily financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Job SummaryThe Accountant Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, processing payments, preparing financial reports, handling taxation and statutory compliance, and supporting the management with financial analysis and reporting.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial AccountingMaintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
  • Record daily financial transactions, receipts, and payments.
  • Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Billing & Payment ManagementGenerate invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Process vendor payments and customer collections.
  • Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients when required.
  • Verify bills, purchase invoices, and supporting documents before processing.
  • Banking & Cash ManagementReconcile bank statements with company records.
  • Maintain petty cash and cash flow records.
  • Coordinate with banks for account-related activities and payment processing.
  • Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows.
  • Taxation & CompliancePrepare and assist in filing GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and government regulations.
  • Organize financial documents for audits and statutory inspections.
  • Support internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Payroll & Employee ReimbursementsAssist in payroll processing and salary disbursement.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Ensure accurate payroll records and statutory deductions.
  • Financial ReportingPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Generate Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist management in budgeting and financial planning.
  • Present financial summaries and reports to the Director and management team.
  • Record Keeping & DocumentationMaintain digital and physical financial records.
  • Organize invoices, contracts, tax documents, and accounting files.
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial information.
  • Internal CoordinationCoordinate with the Admin, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams regarding financial matters.
  • Support management with financial data required for decision-making.
  • Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Required SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Understanding of GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under deadlines.
  • QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Freshers with strong accounting knowledge and software proficiency may also apply.
  • Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of financial compliance and audit procedures.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting software.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and financial planning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy of financial records.
  • Timely completion of accounting entries.
  • On-time GST, TDS, and statutory filings.
  • Bank reconciliation accuracy.
  • Timely invoice generation and payment processing.
  • Monthly financial report submission.
  • Audit readiness and compliance.
  • Cash flow management and financial record accuracy.
