Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate daily financial records and ensure all ledgers are up to date.
- Billing & Invoicing: Generate professional invoices for clients and process purchase bills from suppliers.
- Inventory Management: Track product inward and outward movement, ensuring the physical stock matches the digital records.
- Taxation: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other relevant tax returns.
- Documentation: Organize and maintain files for audits, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Coordination: Liaise with the warehouse team for stock updates and the sales team for billing queries.
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience:
At least 1 year of experience in accounting or a similar role (experience in a manufacturing or trading setup is a plus).
- Software Proficiency: Strong command over accounting software.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and digital banking.
- Tax Knowledge: Good understanding of GST laws and compliance.
- Traits: High level of accuracy, integrity, and the ability to work under month-end pressure.
