Accountant

Job Title: Accountant – Textile Unit Job OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our textile unit. Proficiency and hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory, as it is our primary software for invoicing, billing, and expense tracking.

• Key Responsibilities
• Invoicing & Billing: Generate accurate sales invoices, tax invoices, and delivery challans directly through Zoho Books.
• Daily Cash & Bank Management: Monitor and record daily cash and bank transactions, handle petty cash, and perform regular bank reconciliations within the software.
• Expense Entry: Record daily operational expenses, raw material purchases, and vendor bills accurately.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain up-to-date ledger postings, journal entries, and keep the books of accounts audit-ready.
• Payment Tracking: Monitor outstanding client balances, send payment reminders, and record incoming receipts.
• Requirements & Qualifications
• Software Skills: Must have clear working knowledge of Zoho Books (Invoicing, Banking, and Expenses modules).
• Experience: Prior experience working as an accountant, preferably within a manufacturing or textile environment.
• Education: B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Core Skills: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, GST rules, and MS Excel.
