Accountant/ Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Executive to manage daily accounting, compliance, and operations at our tax consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting & Billing

• Maintain complete books of accounts using Tally Prime.
• Process sales, purchase, receipt, and payment vouchers Entry Work.
• Reconcile bank statements, debtor ledgers, and creditor ledgers monthly.

Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). (Knowledge is Optional - Not Mendatory)
• Reconcile input tax credit using GSTR-2B and GSTR-2A data. (Knowledge is Optional - Not Mendatory)
• Generate E-Way bills and E-invoices accurately on government portals.
• Compute TDS liabilities and prepare quarterly TDS return data. (Knowledge is Optional - Not Mendatory)

Task & Workflow Management

• Track client deadlines for compliance filings using office task tools.
• Organize and maintain digital archives of client tax documents.
• Prioritize daily assignments to meet strict statutory government deadlines.
• Provide regular status updates to senior tax consultants.

Technical Skills

• Mastery of Tally Prime software operations.
• Practical knowledge of GST portal and E-Way bill portal.
• Clear understanding of TDS sections and deduction rates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Soft Skills & Core Qualifications

• Degree in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com) or equivalent.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client portfolios.
• Excellent written communication skills for client correspondence.
• Sharp analytical ability to spot accounting errors quickly.
