Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system stability and performance in a dynamic business environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and optimize application performance.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on issue resolution and project goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex SAP ABAP programs and HANA database interactions.
- Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and integration points.
- Ability to analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance improvements.
- Familiarity with SAP HANA Studio and related development tools.
- Competence in managing transports and system upgrades within SAP environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Ahmedabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
