Associate Manager - S&T (Railways)
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Project Management:
Develop and manage the strategic direction for OHE/PSI projects in coordination with operations, logistics, and business development teams.
Monitor the preparation scope documents, estimates, and cordinate with site team to execute OHE/PSI projects, monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
Analyze breakdown causes for OHE systems, if any, and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
Operations and Compliance:
Oversee the procurement and timely installation of OHE/PSI systems, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
Accompany railway and local officials during inspections, addressing any issues to avoid major non-compliances.
Inventory Management:
Allocate and manage manpower for shift operations, ensuring adequate staffing for general and specific tasks.
Control inventory costs for spare parts and consumables, managing budget allocations for operations, maintenance, and procurement.
Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and consumables, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Quality Assurance and Safety:
Implement and monitor quality control measures for OHE/PSI installations and maintenance works, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety norms.
Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance of OHE/PSI infrastructure, responding promptly to breakdowns and restoring equipment functionality.
Manage documentation and process adherence as per Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
Enforce safety protocols for all employees and contractors working on OHE projects.
Ensure the periodic calibration of measuring instruments and the timely payment of utilities to avoid penalties.
Digital Operational Excellence:
Demonstrate expertise in using digital solutions to monitor, maintain, and optimize overhead electrical equipment, ensuring high operational standards and safety.
Apply digital tool to streamline maintenance schedules, monitor equipment health in real-time, and predict potential failures, reducing downtime.
