Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain books of accounts in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, Busy)
  • Pass journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable

2. Audit & Assurance

  • Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and GST audits
  • Verification of financial records, vouchers, and supporting documents
  • Preparation of audit working papers and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and audit procedures

3. Taxation

  • Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR)
  • GST return preparation (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
  • TDS return preparation and reconciliation
  • Assisting in tax assessments and notices

4. Compliance & ROC Work

  • Preparation and filing of ROC forms (AOC-4, MGT-7, etc.)
  • Assistance in company incorporation and LLP compliance
  • Maintenance of statutory registers and records

5. Client Coordination

  • Communicate with clients for data collection and clarification
  • Resolve routine queries related to accounts, tax, and compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information

 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification:
  • B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / Semi-qualified CA / Articleship experience preferred
  • Experience:
  • 0–3 years (Freshers with articleship exposure can apply)

 

 

 

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
  • Working knowledge of Tally, Excel, and compliance portals
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and documentation skills

 

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to audit assignments
  • Knowledge of Ind AS and Companies Act
  • Experience with MCA and Income Tax portal filings

 

Working Conditions

  • May involve travel for audit assignments
  • Ability to work under deadlines, especially during filing seasons
