AutoCAD Designer

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our team. The AutoCAD Designer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and finalizing technical drawings using AutoCAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, technical drafting, and collaboration with engineers, and project managers to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawing Creation:
• Develop 2D drawings and schematics based on project specifications.
• Interpret sketches and blueprints.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with engineers, and project managers to gather requirements and feedback.
• Adjust designs as necessary based on project updates and client requests.
• Software Proficiency:
• Utilize AutoCAD software to design and produce high-quality drawings.
• Incorporate standards, templates, and libraries for consistent output.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, industry regulations, and client specifications.
• Perform regular reviews and audits of work to maintain accuracy.
• Documentation and Reports:
• Maintain an organized database of project files and drawings.
• Prepare documentation and reports summarizing project progress.
• Prepare Quantity survey sheet along with budget

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: ITI in Draughtsman, Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Designer or Draftsperson.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D design).
• Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., Revit) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, materials, and construction methods.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role with potential for site visits as required.
• May involve extended hours to meet project deadlines.
