Job Purpose: Incharge - SAS is responsible for directing the on-site implementation and optimization of Substation Automation Systems (SAS), ensuring successful system deployment, integration with site-specific infrastructure, and adherence to technical and operational standards for enhanced performance.

Contract Management & Administration

• Lead end-to-end contract administration for Project Infrastructure Portfolio of Renewable Energy Projects.
• Interpret contract terms and ensure compliance by all stakeholders.
• Monitor contractual obligations, deliverables, milestones, and timelines.
• Maintain contract documentation, amendments, and records systematically.

Tendering & Pre-Award Support

• Review tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Identify contractual risks during the bidding stage.
• Identify interface issues, if any.

Post-Award Contract Execution

• Ensure contract kick-off and alignment with contractors.
• Track project milestones against contractual requirements.
• Monitor scope changes and execute contract deviation by amending the contracts.
• Support reconciliation of final accounts and contract closure.
• Coordinate contract disputes, claim settlement. Extension of time and cost escalations.
• Support arbitration/litigation processes if required.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with contract terms, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor BGs (Bank Guarantees) and securities.
• Ensure timely closure of contractual obligations and defect liability periods.

Technical Skills/ Software

• Knowledge of SAP, Ariba System
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word & PPT) 
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure contracts i.e. Industrial / Residential Building works, Roads/Drains, MEP works, Associated Electrical Systems
• Contract dispute resolution / conflict management / negotiation skills
• Financial and commercial acumen

Qualifications

• Education: B. Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 14-16 years in Infrastructure or construction Projects
• Certification in Contract Management (Added advantage)
