Role Summary
The CCTV Camera Operator & Administrative Support Associate is a dual-function role responsible for maintaining continuous surveillance oversight of the VISHWANATH SANIDHYA construction site and providing operational administrative support to site management. This individual serves as the first line of visual intelligence for the project — identifying risks, flagging irregularities, and maintaining an organized archive of critical footage, all while supporting the broader administrative needs of a fast-paced construction environment.
Primary Responsibilities
A. CCTV Surveillance & Monitoring
The core function of this role is active, disciplined oversight of the project's surveillance infrastructure.
• Monitor live feeds across approximately 200 CCTV cameras installed across 8 towers and common areas of the project site.
• Maintain continuous vigilance during assigned shifts; identify and immediately escalate any safety concerns, unauthorized access, suspicious activity, material misappropriation, or conduct violations.
• Report all incidents, observations, and red flags promptly via the designated project WhatsApp group, using clear, factual, time-stamped updates.
• Review recorded footage systematically and curate a weekly highlight reel of approximately 35 clips representing notable events, risk areas, or management-relevant activity.
• Store all curated clips in an organized, structured folder system on MEGA Drive, maintaining a consistent naming convention (date / tower / camera ID / incident type).
• Maintain a daily monitoring log capturing shift observations, camera downtimes, and any footage retrieval requests.
• Promptly flag any camera malfunctions, blind spots, or technical disruptions to the relevant technical team and HOD.
B. Incident Reporting & Escalation
• Identify and document red flags including — but not limited to — unauthorized personnel on site, after-hours activity, material removal without authorization, contractor non-compliance, safety violations, or evidence of misdoing.
• Prepare concise, evidence-backed incident reports with timestamps and camera references for management review.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all surveillance footage, personnel observations, and internal communications.
Secondary Responsibilities
In line with the company's operational philosophy, this role carries meaningful administrative responsibilities that support site management and reporting functions.
A. Documentation Control
• Maintain an organized, up-to-date digital filing system for all project assets including progress photographs, site logs, reports, and recorded footage archives.
• Ensure all documentation is version-controlled, properly labelled, and retrievable on short notice for management or audit purposes.
• Manage folder structures on designated cloud storage (MEGA Drive) ensuring footage archives are clean, accessible, and backed up.
B. Site Monitoring Assistance
• Serve as the central point of contact for retrieving site-related data on management request — including progress photos, logbook entries, and specific recorded footage segments.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and department leads to source relevant documentation in a timely manner.
C. Report Compilation
• Assist the HOD in compiling weekly progress reports by gathering data inputs from various operational sources.
• Prepare structured summaries of surveillance observations, incident logs, and camera health status for inclusion in management reports.
D. Cross-Functional Operational Support
• Participate in cross-departmental initiatives where technical or general operational support is required.
• Support vendor liaison, digital asset retrieval, or site coordination tasks as directed by Management.
• Demonstrate operational flexibility appropriate to a growth-oriented organisation, contributing beyond defined role boundaries when business continuity demands it.
