Job Description
CNC Operator / CNC Programmer
We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer who can independently manufacture mechanical components as per engineering drawings. The candidate should have strong knowledge of CNC machining, programming, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Operate CNC Lathe / VMC machines efficiently
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Create and edit CNC programs (G-code & M-code)
- Perform tool setting and offset adjustments
- Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process quality checks
- Maintain required production targets
- Perform basic machine maintenance
Core Requirement:- Candidate must be capable of manufacturing the following parts:
- Shafts, Bushes, Sleeves
- Flanges and round components
- Internal and external threading
- Drilling, Tapping, and Boring operations
- Step turning and taper turning
- Simple fixture-based components
- Precision parts with tight tolerances (up to ±0.01 mm)
Technical Skills Required:-
- CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi controls)
- Strong knowledge of G-code & M-code
- Ability to use measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, bore gauge)
- Good understanding of engineering drawings (2D)
- Basic knowledge of GD&T
