Data Entry Operator

1. Product Tagging & Labeling

• Generate and print product tags with accurate item codes, descriptions, weights, and prices.

• Ensure all jewellery items are properly tagged before display or sale.

• Maintain consistency in tag format and barcode alignment for easy scanning.

2. Data Entry & Inventory Management

• Enter new product details (design, weight, purity, category, price, etc.) into the inventory software.

• Regularly update item status (sold, exchanged, returned, or repaired) in the system.

• Verify product data accuracy and cross-check physical stock with system records.

3. Billing & Sales Support

• Generate accurate invoices/bills for customer purchases using billing software.

• Verify product details, discounts, and taxes before final billing.

• Coordinate with sales staff to ensure smooth billing and customer handover.

4. Record Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain daily records of items tagged, billed, and updated in software.

• Prepare stock and sales summary reports when required.

• Assist in periodic stock audits and tag verification processes.

5. System & Process Maintenance

• Ensure software is updated and functioning properly for tagging and billing.

• Report technical issues or discrepancies immediately to management or IT support.

6. Confidentiality & Accuracy

• Handle price and stock data securely and maintain confidentiality.

• Double-check entries and tags to avoid errors in inventory or billing.
