The CW and ACW Systems Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery and operation of thermal projects. The individual will be responsible for the following:

• System Design and Optimization: Lead the design and engineering of CW and ACW systems tailored to the specific requirements of thermal power plants, ensuring optimal cooling performance, energy efficiency, and operational reliability.
• Project Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers to coordinate the seamless integration of CW and ACW systems into overall plant design and construction schedules. Monitor project milestones and ensure timely delivery.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to CW and ACW systems during commissioning, startup, and operational phases. Implement corrective measures to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all CW and ACW systems comply with statutory regulations, environmental standards, and Adani’s stringent safety protocols. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential hazards.
• Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Evaluate technical specifications of equipment and materials provided by vendors, oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities, and manage contractor performance to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
• System Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain monitoring systems for key performance indicators (KPIs) of CW and ACW operations. Prepare detailed technical reports, status updates, and performance analyses for senior management and stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion innovation initiatives by identifying opportunities for system upgrades, energy-saving technologies, and best practices in cooling water management. Facilitate knowledge sharing and training programs for operational staff.
• Budget and Resource Management: Support budgeting activities related to CW and ACW systems and optimize resource allocation for maintenance and operational activities to maximize cost-efficiency.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, external clients, regulatory authorities, and community representatives to align project objectives with Adani’s values of inclusiveness, transparency, and sustainability.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
• Postgraduate qualification or specialization in Thermal Engineering, Plant Engineering, or Industrial Cooling Systems will be an added advantage.
