Design Engineer

 Knowledge and Abilities 1. Good knowledge of Design software like Solid EDGE, Solid Works, AutoCAD

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

3. Excellent organizational skills.

5. Ability to work under stressful conditions with consistence professionalism and good judgement.

7. Independently determine approach and assigned tasks.

Duties and Functional Responsibilities

1. Prepare drawings, designs and parameters and related parts using design software’s. 2. Craft product models, modules, and drawings of products using different software’s like Solid EDGE, Solid Works, AutoCAD as per company policy. 3. Research new product ideas and methods and improve existing product design and processes. 4. Maintain accurate design records. 5. Find creative design solutions to problems. 6. Execute material and cost estimate, project schedule along with reports. 7. Develop modules, dies, tools, fixtures, and jigs to be used in manufacturing process. 8. Develop layout new machines, plants, equipment, and tool designs. 9. Conduct elementary design calculations for machine like (hydraulics, statics and power transmission etc) 10. Assemble entire machine design files, check drawings accuracy and add details till merge drawings are required. 11. 6. Education and Training 1. Graduation Degree in Product Designing / Mechanical Engineering or similar field. 2. Fresher to 1+ years’ experience in flexography or relevant product designing field or printing and packaging industries.
