Driver

Job Summary :

We are looking for a responsible and reliable Delivery Driver to handle the safe and timely delivery of company products to customers, distributors, and other designated locations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining delivery schedules, handling products carefully, and ensuring proper documentation of deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver products safely and on time to customers, distributors, and designated locations.

- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules efficiently.

- Load and unload products while ensuring proper handling and avoiding damage.

- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and other relevant documents before delivery.

- Collect delivery acknowledgements and payments, wherever applicable.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and return documents to the concerned department.

- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained.

- Conduct basic checks of the vehicle, including fuel, tyres, brakes, and other essential components.

- Immediately report any vehicle issues, accidents, delays, or delivery-related concerns to the reporting manager.

- Follow all traffic rules, safety guidelines, and company policies.

- Maintain professional and courteous behaviour with customers and business partners.

- Assist with loading/unloading and other logistics-related activities whenever required.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver / Driver / Logistics Executive will be preferred.

- Good knowledge of local routes and navigation.

- Basic understanding of delivery documents and invoices.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to handle products carefully and responsibly.

- Punctual, disciplined, and trustworthy.

- Willingness to work flexible hours as per delivery requirements.
