Electrical Site Engineer

Job Description :-

Position: Site Engineer - Electrical (Solar Projects & PSS)

Location: Site-Based (Project Locations-Gujarat)

Industry: Solar EPC / Power Infrastructure

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 1–3 Years(not required more than 3 years)

Key Responsibilities :

• Site Supervision & Installation: Monitor electrical contractors' work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Quality Control: Perform site inspections, troubleshoot electrical field instruments, and test electrical installations (substations, panels, transformers).
• Coordination & Management: Act as the authorized person for electrical safety, providing project progress reports and coordinating with other departments.
• Documentation & Design: Review electrical submittals, prepare "as-built" drawings, and verify contractor bills/payment certificates.

Assist in project planning and scheduling

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Ensure availability of materials and manpower at site

Specific Experience in Solar / PSS (Preferred)

• 1–2 years of experience in solar plants, electrical maintenance, or industrial projects preferred

Required Skills

• Knowledge of electrical drawings and single line diagrams (SLD).
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester.
• Ability to work at outdoor project sites.
• Basic reporting and communication skills.
