Job Description
Job Title: Men’s Bottom Wear Designer (Pattern & Product Development)
We are hiring a Men’s Bottom Wear Designer responsible for end-to-end development of trousers, denims, cargos, and chinos — from concept to final sample. The role requires strong expertise in pattern making, fit, and garment construction, along with design sense for styling and detailing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design men’s bottom wear including pocket styles, panels, waistband, fly, and trims
Create accurate patterns and ensure proper fit (rise, thigh, knee, bottom, seat)
Develop tech packs with measurements, construction details, and trims
Plan embroidery/print placement and guide wash/finish (for denim if applicable)
Create garment designs on CorelDRAW or similar software
Work closely with the sampling team to develop and correct samples
Ensure proper use of fabric yardage and design feasibility
Requirements:
Experience in men’s bottom wear design and pattern making
Strong understanding of garment construction and fit
Knowledge of embroidery, printing, and trims used in bottoms
Proficiency in CorelDRAW / Illustrator
Experience in tech pack creation and sampling coordination
Note: Strong expertise in pattern making and fit is essential; design responsibilities will depend on experience.
