Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Gym Trainer & Swimming Coach to manage the fitness center and swimming pool activities within our residential community. The ideal candidate will help residents achieve their fitness goals through personalized training while ensuring safe and effective swimming instruction for children and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and maintain the gym, ensuring equipment is used safely and correctly.
• Conduct fitness assessments and prepare personalized workout plans.
• Provide one-on-one and group fitness training sessions.
• Teach swimming to beginners and advanced learners of all age groups.
• Ensure swimmer safety by monitoring pool activities and enforcing pool rules.
• Assist in emergency situations and administer first aid/CPR when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the gym and pool areas.
• Inspect gym equipment and report maintenance requirements.
• Motivate residents to participate in fitness and wellness programs.
• Maintain attendance records, training schedules, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with the apartment management committee regarding fitness programs, events, and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Gym/Fitness Trainer from a recognized institute.
• Certified Swimming Coach and/or Lifeguard certification preferred.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in gym training and swimming instruction.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit, punctual, and customer-service oriented.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training, and fitness programming.
• Swimming instruction and water safety expertise.
• Ability to work with children, adults, and senior citizens.
• Strong motivational and communication skills.
• Emergency response and problem-solving abilities.

Working Hours:

As per the apartment management schedule, including morning and evening shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Reporting To:

Apartment Manager / Society Management Committee.

Salary:

As per qualifications, experience, and society norms.
