Job Description
Job Title: HR & Admin Manager
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Operations
Job Summary : The HR & Admin Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of human resources and administrative functions within the organization. This role involves developing HR policies, managing recruitment, fostering employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and optimizing administrative processes to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities :
Human Resources :
- Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Conduct interviews, coordinate selection processes, and manage onboarding for new hires.
- Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns and grievances.
- Mediate disputes and implement conflict resolution strategies.
- Performance Management:
- Oversee performance appraisal systems and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills.
- Policy Development:
- Create, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
- Compensation and Benefits:
- Manage payroll processes and benefits administration.
- Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend compensation adjustments.
Administration:
- Office Management:
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment.
- Manage facility maintenance, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Compliance and Record Keeping:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Health and Safety:
- Develop and implement workplace safety programs.
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and management of the HR and administrative budget.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master's degree or HR certification preferred.)
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in human resources and administration, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
