Job Title: HVAC Costing & Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented HVAC Costing & Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, techno-commercial proposals, and tender submissions for HVAC projects. The candidate should possess sound technical knowledge of HVAC systems and the ability to analyze project requirements, drawings, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation & Costing

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare detailed HVAC cost estimates for VRV/VRF, DX, Chilled Water, Ducting, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems.
• Calculate material quantities from drawings and project specifications.
• Prepare BOQ, cost sheets, and project budgets.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Tendering & Proposal Preparation

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and tender submissions.
• Analyze RFQs and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing and technical compliance.
• Ensure timely submission of quotations and tenders.

Technical Responsibilities

• Study HVAC layouts, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Prepare quantity take-offs for HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, controls, and accessories.
• Verify project specifications and compliance requirements.
• Support the sales and project teams during technical discussions.

Coordination & Documentation

• Maintain records of quotations, vendor offers, and project estimates.
• Coordinate with Project, Purchase, and Sales departments.
• Prepare comparative statements and cost analysis reports.
• Support project handover from estimation to execution teams.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of HVAC Systems (VRV/VRF, DX, Chillers, AHU, FCU, Ventilation Systems).
• BOQ Preparation & Quantity Surveying.
• Tendering & Cost Estimation.
• Vendor Management & Price Negotiation.
• AutoCAD Drawing Reading.
• MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and commercial understanding.

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 2 to 4 Years in HVAC Costing, Estimation, Tendering, or Project Engineering.

Salary:

• The salary range for this position is up to ₹30,000 per month, depending on the candidate's experience and suitability.
