We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting operations.

Position Summary

The Junior Accountant will assist in day-to-day accounting activities, bookkeeping, GST compliance, banking transactions, vendor payments, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in TALLY ERP/ TALLY PRIME accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and bookkeeping.
• Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Generate invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
• Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing activities.
• Support inventory and stock reconciliation with the stores department.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.
• Prepare various MIS reports and financial statements as directed by management.

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of Accounting Principles and Bookkeeping.
• GST, TDS, and basic taxation knowledge.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Bank reconciliation and ledger management.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing company.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy of accounting entries.
• Timely completion of reconciliations.
• Compliance with statutory deadlines.
• Accuracy of financial reports.
• Proper maintenance of accounting records.
