Lead Structural Engineer - Healthcare
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural design and engineering activities for multiple projects.
- Review and approve structural designs, drawings, and calculations to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, project management consultants, and contractors for design integration.
- Provide technical guidance and solutions for complex structural challenges.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality engineering outputs within project timelines.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved structural designs.
- Conduct value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising safety or quality.
- Manage and evaluate external consultants and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Support tendering, vendor selection, and technical evaluations.
- Drive innovation and adoption of new technologies in structural engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering (Preferred)
- 18–25 years of experience in structural design and engineering
- Proven experience in leading large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or building projects
- Experience in handling multi-disciplinary teams and consultants
