- Supply Chain Manager — Ahmedabad (Global Capability Center)
Location
- Ahmedabad GCC (hybrid office model). Candidate must be willing to work flexible hours to align with global stakeholders as required.

- Senior Manager / Head of Supply Chain Operations, Global GCC
Role summary
- The Supply Chain Manager in the Ahmedabad GCC will lead delivery of assigned end-to-end supply chain services for global markets, drive process standardization and continuous improvement, implement automation and analytics, and act as a primary operational partner to regional supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and commercial teams. The role requires strong stakeholder management, data-driven problem solving, and experience in scaled shared-services environments.
Key responsibilities
- Service delivery
- Manage day-to-day execution of shared-services supply chain processes (Production Planning, order management, purchase-to-pay for indirect/direct, inbound/outbound logistics coordination, inventory reporting and reconciliation).
- Ensure SLAs and KPIs are met; monitor performance and resolve escalations with stakeholders.
- Process standardization & improvement
- Lead standardization and simplification of global processes; document SOPs and maintain process libraries.
- Apply Lean/Six Sigma and best practices to reduce cycle times, error rates and costs.
- Automation & systems
- Partner with IT/RPA/analytics to implement automations, integrations and dashboards (ERP, TMS, WMS, APS).
- Support UAT, change management and adoption of system enhancements.
- Analytics & reporting
- Produce and present operational dashboards and insights (Power BI/Tableau/Excel); drive root-cause analysis and business cases for improvements.
- Governance & compliance
- Maintain controls, audit readiness, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and trade/regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder engagement
- Serve as the operational liaison to regional supply chain, procurement, finance, manufacturing and 3PL partners; coordinate issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Team leadership
- Lead and develop a small onshore team and coordinate offshore delivery or vendor resources; drive capability building and knowledge transfer.
Required qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5–8 years’ relevant experience in supply chain operations, GCC/GBS/shared services, or consulting (consumer goods experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and exposure to TMS/WMS/APS.
- Strong advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau); SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrated track record in process improvement and automation (RPA, workflow).
- Excellent stakeholder communication and project management skills.
Preferred
- Lean Six Sigma / APICS / CPIM / CSCP certification.
- Experience supporting global time zones and managing offshore delivery models.
Familiarity with customs, trade compliance and FMCG category dynamics
