Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, components, and equipment. The candidate will be responsible for creating engineering drawings, 3D models, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and supporting manufacturing activities while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD software.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, and manufacturing documentation.
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering change records.
• Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
• Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and project teams.
• Review customer specifications and convert requirements into engineering designs.
• Conduct product testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and company requirements.
• Support cost reduction and product improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, manuals, and project documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist in prototype development and product optimization.
• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Freshers with strong CAD knowledge may also apply.
• Technical Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or Inventor.
• Knowledge of machine design, fabrication, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Knowledge of engineering materials and standards.
• Familiarity with BOM preparation and documentation control.
• Basic understanding of FEA and design validation techniques.

• Coordination with internal departments and customers as required.
