Job Description
Core Duties
- Product Detailing: Explain drug benefits, usage, dosage, and side effects using clinical data for doctors and pharmacists.
- Clinic and Hospital Visits: Schedule regular face-to-face appointments with 8 to 12 doctors or medical staff daily.
- Sales and Targets: Drive prescription rates to meet assigned monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
- Sample Distribution: Hand out authorized product samples and promotional literature
Relationship and Market Management
- Network Building: Maintain long-term professional relationships with doctors, chemists, and hospital buyers.
- Event Coordination: Help organize medical conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education (CME) programs.
- Market Research: Track competitor pricing, new drug launches, and shifting prescription trends in the assigned area. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Reporting and Compliance
- Documentation: Submit daily call reports (DCR), sales progress records, and expense sheets.
- Ethical Compliance: Follow legal codes and company policies for transparent medical communication
