Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our sheet metal fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for welding sheet metal components according to engineering drawings, maintaining high-quality welds, and ensuring all fabricated parts meet company quality and safety standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and other sheet metal components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Set up and operate MIG welding machines and related fabrication equipment.
• Prepare, align, clamp, and tack weld components before final welding.
• Inspect welded joints for strength, accuracy, and appearance.
• Grind, clean, and finish welded assemblies as required.
• Maintain dimensional accuracy and ensure product quality.
• Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in other fabrication and assembly activities when required.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of MIG welding techniques.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, measuring tape, and angle gauges.
• Ability to identify welding defects and perform necessary corrections.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• Qualification Siti Welder / Fabricator or equivalent technical qualification.
• Certification in MIG welding is preferred.
• Experience 1 years of experience in MIG welding for sheet metal fabrication.
• Experience in industrial equipment, machinery, or laser machine fabrication is an added advantage.
• Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift and handle metal components safely.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
• Safety RequirementsFollow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Use PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles, and protective clothing.
• Report unsafe conditions and equipment issues immediately.
