Network Security Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Network & Security Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and security technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, VPNs, and load balancers, along with troubleshooting and implementation experience. Candidates who can join immediately will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and maintain LAN, WAN, and VPN connectivity.
• Perform firewall policy management, security rule optimization, and access control configuration.
• Troubleshoot network and security incidents and provide timely resolution.
• Manage network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure network security best practices and compliance standards are followed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution and project implementation.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.

Required Skills

• 2 to 3 years of experience in Network & Security Administration.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos, Cisco ASA, Check Point, or similar)
• Routing & Switching
• VPN Technologies (Site-to-Site VPN, Remote Access VPN)
• Load Balancers (F5, Citrix ADC/Netscaler, A10, or similar)
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, NAT, ACLs, and network security concepts.
• Experience in network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE, PCNSA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments.
