Job Description
Job Title: Pattern Maker – Womenswear
Location: Ahmedabad
Experience Required: 2-3 years (preferred)
Role Overview: We are looking for a skilled Pattern Maker with experience in womenswear to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in digital pattern making, garment construction, and product development, with the ability to collaborate closely with design and production teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate digital patterns for womenswear across categories (swimwear, apparel, etc.)
- Develop patterns for new designs, sampling, and R&D initiatives
- Collaborate with designers to translate concepts into production-ready patterns
- Conduct fit sessions and make necessary pattern corrections
- Ensure grading, sizing, and consistency across styles
- Maintain pattern libraries and documentation for future reference
- Support new product development and innovation in fits and silhouettes
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in womenswear pattern making
- Proficiency in digital pattern-making software (e.g., Gerber, Lectra, or similar)
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and fits
- Experience working with factories and managing sampling timelines
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
