Job Description

  1. Greet customers, assist in refueling vehicles with petrol/diesel properly.
  2. Handle payment transactions (cash, card, UPI), issue receipts and keep records.


🛠 Skills & Competencies Developed In six months you would have built/strengthened:

  • Customer service & communication: interacting with varied customers, ensuring correct orders, polite service.
  • Numerical accuracy & cash handling: managing multiple payment modes, reconciling daily sales.
  • Safety awareness: working in a fuel station involves risk (fuel vapours, flammable liquids, equipment) so awareness of procedure is important. secure-jobsplus.gov.mt+1
  • Operational discipline: shift-work, early/late hours, keeping station ready, following company SOPs.
  • Teamwork & reliability: being part of a small team handling the station floor, covering when busy, being punctual/responsible.
  • Basic technical/maintenance awareness: while not full technician, you may have done cleaning nozzles, checking pumps, monitoring stock.
