Pharmacist

Job Title: Pharmacist [ License is compulsory ]

Location: Gurukul, Ahmedabad

Number of Openings: 1 

Salary: • Fresher: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 CTC per month

• Experienced: ₹20,000 – ₹22,000 CTC per month (based on experience & skills)

Working Days & Timings:

• Days: Monday to Saturday

• Timings: 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM (OPD)

• Saturday: 6 working hours only

Role Overview:

The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring proper inventory management, and providing guidance to patients regarding prescribed medicines. The role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, and a patientfocused approach. 

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing:

• Dispense prescribed medicines accurately as per doctor’s instructions

• Ensure proper labeling, dosage instructions, and packaging

Patient Guidance:

• Explain dosage, usage, and precautions to patients

• Address basic patient queries related to medications

Inventory Management:

• Maintain stock levels and ensure timely replenishment

• Monitor expiry dates and remove expired medicines

• Maintain proper storage conditions for all drugs 

Billing & Documentation:

• Generate bills and maintain accurate records of transactions

• Maintain prescription records as per regulatory requirements

Coordination:

• Coordinate with doctors and clinic staff for smooth operations

• Ensure availability of required medicines for OPD patients 

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm)

• Experience: Freshers can apply; experienced candidates preferred

• Good knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical practices

• Basic computer knowledge (billing software, MS Office)

• Good communication skills

• Attention to detail and responsible attitude
