Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in the air compressor production plant. The candidate will be responsible for production supervision, manpower handling, quality control, machine utilization, safety compliance, and ensuring timely production as per company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plant production activities and ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• Monitor assembly, fabrication, machining, testing, and dispatch processes of air compressors.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within timeline and quality standards.
• Handle shop floor manpower allocation and shift management.
• Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance team for breakdown issues.
• Ensure proper implementation of production planning and workflow.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping in the plant.
• Conduct routine quality checks during production and final inspection.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, QC, and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
• Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports.
• Ensure proper usage of raw materials and reduce wastage.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of air compressor manufacturing process.
• Strong leadership and team handling skills.
• Knowledge of fabrication, assembly, machining, and testing processes.
• Ability to manage production targets and manpower efficiently.
• Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures.
• Basic knowledge of ERP, MS Excel, and production reporting.
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

• BE Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 3 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing industry.
• Preference - air compressor or industrial equipment manufacturing background.
