Plumber

Job Summary: The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, sanitary fixtures, water supply lines, drainage systems, and related fittings at residential construction sites. The role requires ensuring all plumbing work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings and quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities: Install water supply, drainage, and sewage pipelines as per approved drawings.
• Fit and install sanitary fixtures such as wash basins, toilets, sinks, showers, and taps.
• Install CPVC, UPVC, PVC, GI, HDPE, and PPR piping systems.
• Perform pressure testing and leakage testing of plumbing systems.
• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and pipelines at project sites.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings and coordinate work with the civil and electrical teams.
• Ensure proper slope and alignment of drainage pipelines.
• Identify plumbing defects and carry out corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
• Follow all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE while working.
• Report daily work progress to the Site Engineer.
• Maintain quality standards and complete work within project timelines.
• Required Qualifications: ITI in Plumbing or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
• Minimum SSC/HSC pass (preferred).
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of plumbing experience in residential or commercial construction projects.
• Experience in bungalow or apartment projects will be an added advantage.
• Required Skills: Knowledge of plumbing systems and fittings.
• Ability to read plumbing layouts and drawings.
• Installation and maintenance of sanitary and water supply systems.
• Pipe cutting, threading, joining, and fitting.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Working Conditions: Work at construction sites.
• Ability to lift plumbing materials and tools.
• Willingness to work overtime when project requirements demand.
• Preferred Candidate: Honest, disciplined, and hardworking.
• Good physical fitness.
• Ability to complete assigned work with minimum supervision.
