Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase, Procurement & Inventory Management Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor relationships, inventory control, and material planning. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely procurement of goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting smooth business operations.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase & ProcurementSource and procure materials, products, equipment, and services as per organizational requirements.
  • Obtain quotations from vendors and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain approved vendor databases.
  • Inventory ManagementMonitor stock levels and maintain optimum inventory.
  • Track inventory movement and ensure accurate stock records.
  • Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits.
  • Identify slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
  • Coordinate with stores and warehouse teams for stock management.
  • Ensure proper material receipt, inspection, and documentation.
  • Supply Chain CoordinationCoordinate with internal departments for material requirements and procurement planning.
  • Ensure uninterrupted availability of materials for business operations.
  • Follow up on pending deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
  • Maintain procurement and inventory reports for management review.
  • Documentation & ComplianceMaintain purchase records, contracts, invoices, and vendor documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Verify purchase bills and coordinate with the accounts department for payment processing.
  • Prepare procurement MIS reports and inventory status reports.
  • Cost Control & AnalysisAnalyze purchasing trends and market conditions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
  • Monitor inventory carrying costs and optimize stock levels.
  • Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Professional certification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
  • Experience3–7 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Inventory, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in handling vendor management, procurement processes, and inventory control.
