Job Description

· Conduct inward material inspections. Visual or with measuring instrument or lab test as required. (raw steel, castings, bought-out components)

· Perform in-process and stage-wise inspections during fabrication, machining, assembly, and hydraulic system installations.

· Monitor material cutting, fabrication, welding, straitening, drilling, tapping, assembly and other manufacturing activities and ensure compliance with Specifications.

· Conduct final pre-dispatch inspections, including dimensional, operational, and functional testing.

· Develop, implement, and review Inspection and Test Plans and Quality Assurance Plans.

· Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including test reports, calibration records, and material traceability logs.

Monitor equipment calibration schedules for shop floor measuring instruments, gauges, and testing rigs
