Sales Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sales Engineer to handle Industrial Pump business for Kirloskar Brothers Limited products in the assigned territory. The role involves customer handling, business development, technical sales, quotation follow-up, and coordination for smooth execution from enquiry to billing.

The candidate should be capable of maintaining strong relationships with industrial customers while driving sales growth in sectors like Chemical, Pharma, Water, Infrastructure, OEM, Utilities, and Process Industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle sales and business development for Kirloskar industrial pump products.
• Visit customers regularly to generate enquiries and maintain strong relationships.
• Identify opportunities in industries such as Chemical, Pharma, EPC, Water, Power, and Process Plants.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable pump solutions.
• Follow up aggressively for order conversion.
• Coordinate internally for order processing, dispatch, documentation, and payment follow-up.
• Generate new customer accounts while maintaining existing clients.
• Track competitors, pricing, and market activities.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Required Skills

• Good communication and customer handling skills.
• Technical understanding of industrial equipment/pumps.
• Ability to handle techno-commercial discussions.
• Strong follow-up and negotiation capability.
• Basic understanding of industrial applications and process requirements.
• Comfortable with field sales and customer visits.
• Knowledge of Excel and sales coordination.
