Senior Accountant – Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify Sales, Purchase, Bank, Cash & Journal vouchers.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
• Perform Bank, Debtor, Creditor & Ledger reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable, payment follow-ups, and outstanding collections.
• Handle Accounts Payable and vendor payment planning.
• Maintain company's expenses and bank transactions.
• Import accounting and BOE entries.
• Prepare monthly MIS, financial reports, and fund flow statements.
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, banks, and government departments.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accounting accuracy.
• Maintain proper documentation and compliance records.
• Inventory Management in coordination with the warehouse and operations team

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting standards.
• Experience in import/export accounting and statutory compliance preferred.
• Ability to prepare reconciliations and financial MIS.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.
