Job Title: Retail MIS Head

Role Overview:

The Retail MIS Head is responsible for managing, analyzing, and reporting business data to support decision-making across retail operations. This role ensures accurate data flow, performance tracking, and actionable insights for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIS & Reporting
• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reports
• Automate reports using advanced tools (Excel, BI tools)
• Data Analysis
• Analyze sales, inventory, and store performance data
• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Provide insights to senior management for strategic decisions
• Dashboard Management
• Create and maintain dashboards for real-time tracking
• Monitor KPIs such as sales, conversion, footfall, and stock levels
• System & Process Improvement
• Improve data collection and reporting processes
• Coordinate with IT for system enhancements
• Coordination
• Work closely with retail, finance, and operations teams
• Ensure smooth data flow between departments

Key Skills Required:

• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros)
• Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Data accuracy and attention to detail
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and presentation skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field
• MBA (Preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in MIS, preferably in retail industry
