Job Title: Surgery Coordinator

Location: Gurukul, Ahmedabad

Experience Required: 1+ Year

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field (B.Sc., Nursing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, etc.)

• Healthcare or hospital experience will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the complete surgery scheduling process.

• Explain surgery procedures, pre-operative requirements, and post-operative instructions to patients and their families.

• Guide patients regarding necessary tests, documentation, consent forms, and admission procedures.

• Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, surgeons, and hospital departments.

• Ensure all medical records and surgery-related documents are complete and updated.

• Follow up with patients before and after surgery to ensure a smooth treatment journey.

• Address patient queries and provide appropriate support and guidance. Maintain accurate records and coordinate with the medical team for timely surgery execution. 

Required Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong patient counseling and coordination abilities.

• Good organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to handle patients with empathy and professionalism.

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in patient coordination, surgery coordination, healthcare counseling, or hospital operations.

• Science background is mandatory.

• Comfortable interacting with patients and explaining medical procedures in a clear and supportive manner.
