Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to drive field sales activities, build strong customer relationships, and promote Siemens automation products. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge with sales skills to identify opportunities, provide solutions, and achieve business growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial automation.
· Visit customers regularly to understand requirements and propose solutions.
· Promote Siemens automation products (PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, sensors, HMIs).
· Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demos, and solution proposals.
· Collaborate with back-office sales team for quotations, order processing, and dispatch coordination.
· Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers.
· Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
· Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
· Provide feedback from the market to management for product and strategy improvements.
· Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Graduate / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in field sales / technical sales (industrial automation preferred).
· Strong knowledge of Siemens Automation Products (PLC, VFD, SCADA, HMI).
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into solutions.
· Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with frequent travel.
Preferred Skills
· Experience in industrial automation / electrical product sales.
· Familiarity with control panels, sensors, and automation components.
· Knowledge of CRM tools and sales reporting.
Soft Skills
· Customer-focused and solution-oriented.
· Positive attitude and team player.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently under deadlines.
