Job Description
1–5 Years (Manufacturing Industry)
- Key Responsibilities:Perform gauge calibration and maintain calibration records.
- Monitor tool life and ensure timely tool replacement.
- Prepare and maintain PPAP documentation.
- Conduct shop floor quality inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Approve machine setups before production starts.
- Carry out patrol inspections during production to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Investigate quality defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to improve product quality.
- Maintain quality records and prepare inspection reports.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality procedures.
- Qualification:Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Skills Required:Knowledge of quality tools and inspection techniques.
- Understanding of PPAP, calibration, and manufacturing processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
