Job Description
Job Title: Civil Engineer – PEB (Pre-Engineered Building)
Location: Ajmer, Rajasthan (North Western Railway Project)
Company: Jangid Engineering Works
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer for execution and supervision of PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) works at Ajmer under NWR.
The candidate will be responsible for managing civil foundation works, coordination with structural/PEB teams, and ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion.
- Key Responsibilities:Execute and supervise civil works related to PEB structures, including foundations, anchor bolt fixing, and pedestal construction
- Ensure proper layout marking, leveling, and alignment as per approved drawings
- Coordinate with PEB erection team for accurate bolt positioning and structural readiness
- Conduct foundation checks before casting (levels, reinforcement, shuttering, anchor bolts)
- Monitor concrete quality, curing, and testing (cube tests)
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports (DPRs) and site documentation
- Ensure compliance with Railway/NWR specifications and safety standards
- Handle site measurements, billing support, and BOQ verification
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and client representatives
- Manage material planning, site logistics, and manpower
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 2–5 years experience in PEB / Industrial / Steel Structure projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- Foundation works for PEB
- Anchor bolt setting and alignment
- Structural drawings and BOQ
- Familiar with Railway standards (preferred)
- Good command over AutoCAD, Excel, and site reporting
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
- Preferred Experience:Experience in Railway projects (NWR / Indian Railways)
- Exposure to industrial sheds / steel structures / fabrication works
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and site safety norms
- Key Deliverables:Accurate and timely foundation execution
- Zero deviation in anchor bolt alignment
- Timely submission of site reports and measurements
- Coordination for smooth PEB erection without delays
