Job Description

Location: Aluva Jawa Yezdi Showroom, Aluva, Kerala

Employment Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Showroom Manager

VAYALAT AUTOMOBILES PVT LTD (Jawa Yezdi MOTORCYCLES)Aluva, our motorcycles are known for their heritage, chrome, and classic appeal. We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Staff member who understands that a premium showroom experience starts with a spotless environment. Your goal is to ensure that every corner of our facility—from the gleaming bikes to the customer lounge—is inviting and professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Showroom Maintenance: Ensure the main floor is vacuumed/mopped daily and kept free of dust, footprints, and debris.
  • Bike Detailing (External): Assist in dusting and light polishing of display motorcycles to keep the chrome and paintwork shining.
  • Glass & Mirrors: Maintain streak-free glass doors, windows, and display mirrors (essential for that premium showroom look).
  • Lounge & Office Care: Clean and sanitize the customer waiting area, sales desks, and administrative offices.
  • Restroom Hygiene: Ensure restrooms are cleaned, disinfected, and restocked with supplies throughout the day.
  • Pantry Duties: Manage the pantry area, including cleaning the coffee station and serving water/tea to customers when necessary.
  • Waste Management: Regularly empty trash bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Attention to Detail: You notice the small smudges that others might miss.
  • Punctuality: Ability to arrive early to ensure the showroom is "customer-ready" before opening hours.
  • Professionalism: A polite and helpful attitude toward customers and staff.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, bend, and move around for the duration of the shift.
  • Language: Basic communication skills in Malayalam (English or Hindi is a plus).

Experience

  • Previous experience in a retail showroom, hotel, or office environment is preferred but not mandatory.
