Job Description

A sales executive is a frontline revenue driver responsible for identifying business opportunities, pitching products, and negotiating contracts. They act as the primary link between a company and its clients, aiming to acquire new accounts, maximize profitability, and build long-term customer relationships. [1, 2, 3]



Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively source new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Client Pitching: Deliver tailored product presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Address client concerns, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and finalize sales deals.
  • Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and drive repeat business or upselling.
  • Sales Tracking: Update CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) with client interactions and submit regular sales forecasts to management.

Qualifications & Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a highly commercial role.
