Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Oversees the logistics management activities to provide efficient and productive processes Directs the management of logistics services and budget to optimize the flow of materials and products.Developing strategic initiatives for the supply and demand requirements and opportunities Implementing innovative solutions for cost optimization and localization.Determining best logistics plans to improve production, distribution, and inventory management.Management of end item deliverables based on the master production schedule Evaluating material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production/customer requirements Evaluating status updates on assemblies that are in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.Interacting with various department heads to ensure goals are in line with the overall business strategyPreferred Industries
