Position:- Special Education Assistant

Job Description:-

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate "Special Education Assistant - for Amritsar Location" to support children with developmental, behavioral, learning, and communication challenges. The assistant will work under the guidance of therapists and special educators to help children participate in therapy sessions, classroom activities, and daily learning programs.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Assist therapists and special educators during individual and group sessions.
• Support children in improving communication, attention, behavior, and social interaction skills.
• Help manage classroom and therapy materials, activities, and schedules.
• Encourage children to participate in sensory, cognitive, and learning activities.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and child-friendly environment.
• Assist in behavior management and daily routine training.
• Observe children’s responses during sessions and report progress to senior staff.
• Support children during play therapy, activity time, and functional learning tasks.
• Help maintain attendance records, activity sheets, and therapy-related documentation.
• Coordinate with therapists, teachers, and parents when required.

Required Skills:-

• Good communication and patience with children.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow therapist instructions and therapy plans.
• Basic understanding of child behavior and learning support.
• Teamwork and responsibility in a clinical/educational setup.

Eligibility:-

• Graduation in any stream.
• Preference for candidates with experience in child care, education, psychology, or special education.
• Fresher's with interest in working with children can also apply.
