Job Description
- Driver – Job Responsibilities (Loading Vehicle)Job RequirementsMust possess a valid Transport (TR) Driving Licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven.
- Must carry the original driving licence and all required vehicle documents while on duty.
- Should have a good knowledge of traffic rules, road safety regulations, and local routes.
- Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a daily inspection of the vehicle before starting work, including brakes, tyres, lights, horn, engine oil, coolant, and fuel level.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and all required documents are valid and available.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
- Verify the quantity and condition of materials before loading.
- Ensure all goods are properly arranged, secured, and secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- Do not overload the vehicle and ensure the load complies with legal weight limits.
- Deliver materials safely and on time to customers or project sites.
- Obtain delivery acknowledgements or proof of delivery from customers.
- Report any shortages, damages, accidents, traffic violations, or delays immediately to the supervisor.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures while driving.
- Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance or repair requirements promptly.
- Maintain records of vehicle trips, fuel consumption, kilometre readings, and delivery activities.
- Handle customer materials carefully and maintain professional conduct at all times.
- Return all delivery documents, invoices, and acknowledgements to the office after completing deliveries.
- Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during loading, unloading, and delivery operations.
- Support warehouse and logistics staff with loading and unloading whenever required.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a high standard of safety and customer service.

- Compliance with traffic regulations and company safety policies.
- Timely and accurate delivery of materials.
- Maintaining a valid Transport (TR) Driving Licence and complying with all legal driving requirements.
