Factory Manager

We are looking for a hands-on and responsible Factory Manager to oversee the complete operations of our namkeen manufacturing unit. The role involves managing production, labour, inventory, quality control, and ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the factory.

This is a leadership role for someone who can take ownership, maintain discipline, and improve efficiency on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

Oversee daily production planning and execution

Ensure production targets are met on time

Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and batch output

Minimize wastage and improve operational efficiency

2. Labour Management

Supervise factory workers and assign daily tasks

Ensure discipline, attendance, and productivity

Handle worker issues and maintain a positive work environment

Train workers for better efficiency and hygiene practices

3. Inventory & Stock Management

Manage raw material stock (oil, spices, sev, peanuts, etc.)

Track finished goods inventory

Coordinate with procurement to avoid stock-outs

Maintain proper stock records and reporting

4. Quality Control & Hygiene

Ensure all products meet quality standards

Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the factory

Monitor production processes to avoid defects

Follow food safety standards and guidelines

5. Operations & Coordination

Coordinate with packaging, dispatch, and sales teams

Ensure timely order fulfillment

Maintain smooth workflow across departments

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily production reports

Track labour productivity and machine usage

Report issues, breakdowns, or delays to management
