Store Assistant

The Store Assistant is responsible for assisting in stock management, inventory control, material handling, and dispatch activities. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely dispatch of materials, and proper maintenance of store documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Management

* Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.

* Maintain proper storage of raw materials, packing materials, finished goods, and consumables.

* Update stock records and inventory registers on a daily basis.

* Assist in physical stock verification and cycle counting.

* Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.

* Ensure proper labeling and identification of all materials.

Dispatch Management

* Prepare materials for dispatch as per approved dispatch schedules.

* Verify quantities, batch numbers, and documentation before dispatch.

* Coordinate with transporters and dispatch personnel.

* Prepare and maintain dispatch challans, e-way bills, and related documents.

* Track dispatched materials and maintain dispatch records.

* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to customers.
