Job Description:
RIIMS Hospitals is hiring a qualified and responsible Pharmacist to manage medicine dispensing, stock maintenance, patient guidance, and pharmacy operations. The candidate should have proper pharmacy knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to work carefully in a hospital environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Dispense medicines as per doctor’s prescription
- Explain dosage, timing, and basic medicine instructions to patients
- Maintain proper medicine stock and inventory records
- Check medicine expiry dates and ensure safe storage
- Manage purchase, billing, and daily pharmacy records
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and reception team
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the pharmacy area
- Ensure medicines are issued only as per prescription and hospital guidelines
- Prepare daily/weekly stock and sales reports
- Handle patient queries politely and professionally
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of medicines and prescriptions
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Pharmacy billing software knowledge will be a plus
- Good communication and patient handling skills
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented
- Ability to manage stock and expiry tracking
- Hospital or clinic pharmacy experience preferred
Eligibility:
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm required
- Valid pharmacy registration preferred
- Freshers and experienced candidates both can apply
- Age: 20 to 40 years preferred
Salary:
₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month, based on qualification, experience, and interview.
Working Hours:
Day shift. Final timing will be discussed during the interview.
